On 15th February 2022, Beaubelle, a wholly family-owned business, was delighted to hold the official grand opening event of the Beaubelle Flagship Salon at Hartamas Shopping Centre. Beaubelle Founder and Managing Director, Mdm Ruby Siah, and her executive management members have been very pleased to see the development and growth of the homegrown brand expanded internationally to more than 30 countries since its establishment 27 years ago.

The grand opening, conceptualized by the official event management company, MMK, was a success. The star-studded mid-afternoon event commenced with a speech by its Executive Director, Mr. Johnson Lim, followed by a speech by its founder and managing director, Mdm Ruby Siah. Pastor Stephen of SIBKL church also delivered a special blessing for the opening ceremony. This was followed by the cutting of the ribbon which was held in place by the Beaubelle Founder (Mdm. Ruby Siah), and Executive Director (Mr. Johnson Lim), and 2 Senior Directors (Mr. Johan Lim and Mr. Julius Lim), Datuk Rashidi Hasbullah, accompanied by MMK founder, Dr. Jason Hee, Elaine Daly, Carol Lee, Mdm Liew Su Fei performed the cutting of the ribbon ceremony to officially open the salon to the community. As it was also the closing of the lunar new year, also known as 'Chap Goh Meh', the VIP guests were entertained by Lion dance and several musical and dance performances to the delight of the guests.

With other VIP dignitaries Tourism Malaysia Senior Director, Datuk Dr. Ammar, Datuk Nargiz Safarova, Tourism Ambassador for Russia and CIS countries to Malaysia, the grand opening was also attended by industry leaders, Image Consultants, Publicists and Media, and Salon Clients. Guests were given a personalised tour of the Salon and received a celebratory goodie bag.

Beaubelle serves the local and international community, offering an "inclusive" beauty that embraces age with empowerment, which inspires true and timeless beauty that transcends age and years. The Swiss Alpine Spring Water is the key ingredient used in the formulation of Beaubelle Skin Care products and it is the heart of the brand.

MOTAC Supports Miss Malaysia Kebaya Malaysia's (MMK) Movement to motivating and Inspiring Malaysias through 'TOP 100 TALENTS MAGAZINE'

Kuala Lumpur, 11 April 2021- Miss Malaysia Kebaya (MMK) officially launched the 'Top 100 Talents Magazine' in support of the Ministry of Tourism, Arts & Culture (MOTAC), to recognize and acknowledge exceptional individuals that significantly contributed to the nation.
The organizer of this project- Dr. Jason Hee Jee Pin, Founder of MMK, and co-Founder Ms. Nicole Fe Lynne, aim to bring these talents forward to work alongside MOTAC and its agencies (Tourism Malaysia, etc) to promote local tourism, cultural diversity, and heritage, arts, etc.

"The Talents featured on the 'Top 100 Talents Magazine' are people who have contributed substantially to the country and are the pride of Malaysia. They deserve all the recognition, and through this initiative, the organizer's objective is to inspire and to motivate others to take a step into making Malaysia greater," said Dr. Jason Hee.

Having limited print magazines in Malaysia, the 'Top 100 Talents Magazine' serves the unique purpose of applauding deserving individuals, professionals, and brands that have made Malaysia proud through sports, education, singing, dancing, acting, martial arts, musical instruments, poetry, emceeing, among others.

The noble concept is fully recognized, endorsed, and supported by MOTAC, the Selangor State Government, Entrepreneurs, Pageants, and more. The stylish event was officiated and graced by Mohd Izal Mahd Nor, the Tourism Malaysia Central Region Director representing Tuan Hj. Zulkilfly, Director General of Tourism Malaysia, at the official launch event.

"Miss Malaysia Kebaya's effort to preserve our diverse culture here in Malaysia and to get more people involved in the process is highly commendable, and we at Tourism Malaysia are open to supporting the initiatives. We hope that the "Top 100 Talents Magazine' will inspire more people to play a part in making Malaysia a better place for everyone," said Mohd Izal Mahd Nor.

Selangor Fashion Week (#SFW) 2020

Date: 27th May 2020 (Tuesday)

The second edition of Selangor Fashion Week (SFW), was announced and officially launched on 18th May 2020 by MMK (Miss Malaysia Kebaya), the organizer, themed 'The Next Look'.  In conjunction with the Covid-19 and Social Distancing compliance, for the first time, the event is organized online with a virtual offshoot of The Next Look for all talents competition as a reality TV show. 

The highly anticipated creative, educational and lifestyle concept show will be screening the digital reality TV Competition through MMK's own TV Channel and it will be broadcasted in collaboration with other digital Channels for wider and potentially global reach. 

The Reality Show- What?
The SFW is a unique reality TV series that is specially designed to inspire both young teens & kid talents (Age 12-17 & Age 4-11 ) and young adults of both genders (Age 16 and above), locally, regionally, and worldwide of all ethnicities to showcase their talents and compete from #StayAtHome. Submission would be using pre-recorded video and it is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be noticed and achieve fame through the new virtual world of social distancing. The talent search is divided into categories

Category A:  Modelling Search
Category B:  Beauty Queen Search
Category C:  TV Host & Emcee Search
Category D: Arts Performing Talents Search (Acting, Singing, Dancing, Instrumentalists & Others)
